I enjoyed the book from cover to cover

Day Use was a very intriguing read. I do have to admit I thought it was going to be erotica. Instead, it was a story of intrigue and mystery that had me giggling to myself quite a bit.
Dalia, unexpectedly a new widow, sets out to find a new "normal" after her husband's sudden death.
Day Use is Dalia's story of her road to self discovery and becoming the woman she was meant to be.
I found this book very clever and tasteful. I enjoyed the book from cover to cover.
This story is based on true events and I enjoyed the glimpse into Isreal's nuclear secrets. I found this fascinating.
The author is a former reporter and media worker who actually runs a Day Use facility.
The entire concept of Day Use, an establishment made for couples to be able to retreat and have intimate relations that they can rent for as little as a couple hours is an interesting one. I love that she elaborates that, while it is an easy assumption to make, not all her patrons are being unfaithful. Couples with young kids also use Day Use to keep the excitement alive in their marriage.
Dalia's life is not entirely about Day Use. She finds herself being an investigator and detective along the way.
This was truly an enjoyable read.

Good Book

This book intrigued me in the way the author details real life events. I think that’s one aspect of it that caught my attention in reading this book. I read the preview and I was captivated. I like books that are based on real life events. The main character lost her husband in a mysterious explosion and now she’s left alone and she has to find a way to “re-invent” herself and figure out what to do with her life. She figures that opening her own business is the best thing for her. She opens a Day Use facility (motel) renting rooms by the hour to couples so they can have a place where they can have intimacy. But just like you might guess not everyone is searching for that reconnection between spouses but more like a connection in general. The book is about Sex, unfaithfulness, forbidden love, and the mystery of her husband’s death is revealed.
The one thing that came to mind when I read this book was the T.V. Show Weeds. How a widow in despondency takes one idea that’s different and in some ways can be socially ridiculed and turns it around. Not everyone might agree with my comparison but I could not stop thinking about that one thing they share in common.

amazing book!

I loved this book. Just couldn't stop reading it. I finished this book in only a day and a half. Would have been sooner if I hadn't needed to sleep.
When her husband is killed in a mysterious blast Dalia needs to find a way to move on and deal with her grief. An old friend comes to show his respects and explains how he runs Day-use rooms in Japan. From there she is thrown into full swing, preparing and running. She also explains some of the hilarious situations which arise with her patrons.
This book is extremely well written with only minor grammatical errors. Her writing style makes you want to continue reading. The ending was also very satisfying. It flowed very well, once I got started reading I was pulled into Dalia's world. There was just the right amount of detail to let you imagine the surroundings without getting bored. I would gladly read ANY other books written by Dalia Rosenfeld!!
